Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls during night hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Diagnose and repair pipe bursts, clogs, leaks, and fixture malfunctions
- Install and maintain water heaters, sump pumps, and HVAC systems
- Perform pipefitting, soldering, and trenchless sewer repairs
- Document service reports and maintain inventory of parts/tools
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and local plumbing codes
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid DC Master Plumber certification (or reciprocal state license)
- EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and pipe cameras
- Strong problem-solving and customer communication skills
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed
