Responsibilities
- Perform complex repairs, maintenance, and installation of piping systems, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently, often with limited supervision during night hours.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine optimal layout for projects.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized, demonstrating professional craftsmanship.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and office staff to update job status and coordinate logistics.
- Handle emergency calls and urgent repairs with a calm, professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber License is strictly required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in various environments.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Proficiency in using digital estimating tools and modern plumbing technology.
