Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, mounting outlets, and installing light fixtures and switches.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under the supervision of a journeyman.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
- Help transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
