Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels) and light machinery under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job site layout
- Perform debris removal and site cleanup to meet safety standards
- Follow verbal instructions and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support team members during concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily progress reports and time logs accurately
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- No prior experience required—training provided
- Must pass pre-employment background check
