Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic equipment (saws, drills, compactors) following OSHA guidelines
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and task instructions
- Contribute to trenching, excavation, and foundation support tasks
- Perform daily safety checks and report hazards immediately
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic hand tool proficiency (hammer, tape measure, level)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends/evenings required)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- 1+ years construction/labor experience preferred
