Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with pipe installation, repair, and maintenance tasks
- Learn diagnostic techniques for plumbing fixtures, drains, and water systems
- Safely operate plumbing tools and equipment under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in customer service interactions and basic troubleshooting
- Complete training modules to develop technical expertise progressively
- Support emergency plumbing calls during on-call rotation
- Document service activities and maintain inventory of materials
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required – training provided!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Jose
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certifications within 6 months
- Background check and drug screen required post-hire
