Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic equipment like power saws, drills, and concrete mixers under supervision
- Follow blueprints and safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, demolition, and debris removal
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools (training provided)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
