Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and ground leveling
- Handle and transport construction materials safely and efficiently
- Operate basic tools (shovels, jackhammers, concrete saws) under supervision
- Perform demolition tasks and debris removal
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Support skilled tradespersons with material staging and equipment setup
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Background check and drug screen required
- Previous construction experience preferred
