Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters and masons with material installation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, and forklifts (certification provided)
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain (company-paid)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Availability for early morning starts (5:30 AM) and weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
