Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material preparation and site setup
- Safely operate hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and light equipment
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job-site regulations
- Support material handling and inventory management at project sites
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in team environments
