Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site prep, and cleanup duties
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain organized, debris-free work areas to meet safety standards
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions for task execution
- Participate in scaffold setup and basic structural support tasks
- Report equipment issues and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
