Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely including saws, drills, and leveling equipment
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read blueprints and interpret basic construction instructions
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and equipment operation
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification a plus
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects regularly
