Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout the workday
- Support skilled trades with material handling and basic installation tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and basic tool inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
