Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain organized, hazard-free work environments per OSHA standards
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Perform general site maintenance including debris removal and equipment inspection
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour construction certification (provided)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction terminology
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
