Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- General Labor Support: Perform general manual tasks including carrying heavy loads, mixing concrete, or assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) as needed.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision to support project goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Communication Skills: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
