Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradesmen, including carpenters, electricians, and general laborers, with various tasks.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, skid steers).
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks accurately.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in the erection of temporary structures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and hold heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physically fit with the stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not strictly required.
