Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely transport and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Clean work areas, remove debris, and prepare surfaces for construction activities.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic heavy machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets safety standards and project specifications.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of tools and materials to prevent loss and waste.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a history of consistent attendance.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Valid ID: Must provide valid government-issued identification and work authorization.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not required for eager learners.
- Tools: Own safety boots and basic tools are preferred.
