Responsibilities
- Material Management: Safely load, unload, and organize construction materials at the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction areas by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic tools and equipment (e.g., wheelbarrows, brooms, drills) under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Trade Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradespeople by performing necessary tasks to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including potential weekends or overtime.
- Tools: Basic understanding of safety protocols and willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
