Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and transport supplies to designated areas
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, etc.) with project tasks
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervision
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from site managers
- Complete daily progress reports and time logs accurately
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Must provide own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
