Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and circuit upgrades.
- Inspect electrical systems, devices, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of materials.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively regarding project timelines and status.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex electrical issues to ensure system functionality.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and electrical code compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively for part-time shifts.
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
