Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on residential and commercial systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical safety codes.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physically able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and willingness to undergo training.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
