Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and panel upgrades.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice.
- Document work orders and complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (valid in NY and IL).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and building codes.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for climbing ladders and working in various conditions.
