Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas, including layout, measuring, material selection, and assembling electrical fixtures.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, such as stripping, cutting, and connecting wires to panels and devices.
- Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding as required.
- Strong willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for accurate measuring and material estimation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
