Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and circuit issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper tool management and inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details to clients clearly.
- Collaborate with the full-time team to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent trade certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, multimeters, and hand tools.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
