Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all electrical work meets local and national safety codes.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level apprentices.
- Physical stamina required to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses during employment.
