Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to resolve customer complaints.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project timelines and status.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (Massachusetts preferred) or valid Apprentice license.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various environments (climbing ladders, attics, crawl spaces).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
