Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems (leaks, clogs, water heaters)
- Install fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems per NYC plumbing codes
- Perform emergency service calls within 2-hour response windows
- Conduct preventive maintenance for commercial plumbing systems
- Prepare detailed service reports and digital invoicing
- Maintain inventory and order plumbing supplies
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Valid NYC Plumbing License (Plumber Class 1 or 2)
- Minimum 3 years residential/commercial plumbing experience
- Expertise in pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installation
- Familiarity with NYC plumbing codes and permit requirements
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient with digital diagnostic tools and software
