Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under the supervision of a journeyman plumber.
- Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and local building codes.
- Communicate professionally with customers to identify issues and explain solutions.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from service vehicles.
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in tight or confined spaces.
- Basic reading and math skills for measuring and ordering supplies.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel within the DC metro area.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
