Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and concrete pouring operations
- Install and operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts)
- Construct scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and project specifications
- Perform material handling and inventory management
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel to project sites within PA
