Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, levels)
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal according to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety protocols
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain organized tool sheds and equipment inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or trade school certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Must pass background check and drug screening
