Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Execute plumbing tasks including pipe installation, leak repair, fixture replacement, and system maintenance in residential and commercial properties.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer inquiries, and ensure a high standard of service and cleanliness at job sites.
- Diagnosis: Utilize diagnostic tools to identify plumbing issues and recommend effective, cost-efficient solutions.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, drainage, and venting systems.
- Code Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety on the job.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: For Journeyman roles, 3+ years of verified experience; for Apprentices, no experience is required.
- License: Valid Journeyman Plumber License (required for Journeyman) or willingness to obtain Apprentice License.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials; ability to read blueprints.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
