Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems, drains, and fixtures.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform basic measurements, calculations, and cut pipe materials under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including job sites and tool trucks.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Interact with customers to answer questions and provide updates on service status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must be willing to travel to various job sites in the NY area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces or outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn a trade.
