Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Shadow experienced technicians to learn installation, repair, and maintenance procedures for residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform Basic Tasks: Help with pipe cutting, threading, bending, and soldering under supervision.
- Leak Detection: Assist in locating and diagnosing leaks in pipes, faucets, and fixtures.
- Drain Cleaning: Support the unclogging of drains and sewer lines using professional tools.
- Tool Management: Maintain, clean, and organize tools and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, answering questions and providing updates on job progress.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on every job site.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (trade school is a plus but not required).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (confined spaces, heights, outdoors).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Work Ethic: A strong desire to learn, punctual, and reliable attendance is required.
- Problem Solving: Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to interact with the team and customers.
