Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with residential and commercial repair and installation projects.
- Perform basic tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and installing fixtures under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and answer basic questions.
- Learn and apply proper safety protocols and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License: Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in tight spaces or outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Background: No prior plumbing experience required; trade school background is a plus but not mandatory.
