Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Install and maintain water heaters, faucets, toilets, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues and provide solutions.
- Adhere to all local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Keep work area clean and organized after every job.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain necessary state licenses and certifications.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
