Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, openings, and fixtures in walls and floors.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations.
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project completion.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain necessary plumbing licenses and certifications.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
