Responsibilities
- Perform essential plumbing tasks including leak detection, pipe repair, and fixture installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, waste, and venting systems.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, soldering torches, and threaders.
- Ensure all work complies with local and state building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide professional solutions.
- Assist senior plumbers with complex installations and maintenance projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including job sites and service vehicles.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments, including crawl spaces and attics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred but not strictly required).
