Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and broken pipes.
- Install and maintain plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and faucets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and costs to clients in a clear manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Ensure all work complies with local and state plumbing codes and regulations.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight spaces.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
