Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of water supply, waste, and venting systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide effective, long-term solutions.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system integrity and safety compliance.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide transparent cost estimates.
- Operate various power and hand tools, including pipe wrenches, soldering torches, and video inspection cameras.
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman or Master Plumber license (Applicants with significant experience may be considered).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of pipe materials (PVC, copper, PEX) and joining methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for field work.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
