Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Installation: Install new plumbing fixtures, appliances, and piping systems according to local codes and blueprints.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing infrastructure to prevent future breakdowns.
- Emergency Response: Respond to weekend emergency calls promptly and professionally to minimize downtime.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients to explain repairs, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must hold a valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience required.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Skills: Proficiency in pipefitting, welding, soldering, and reading blueprints.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for job site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
