Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures
- Lead experimental validation on quantum computing platforms (D-Wave, IBM Quantum)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors for AI workloads
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure federal and corporate grants for quantum AI research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Experience with quantum hardware interfaces and calibration
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary research teams
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
