Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms targeting optimization and simulation challenges in finance, pharmaceuticals, and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Optimize quantum error correction systems to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Drive quantum security protocols for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Experience leading technical teams and managing complex R&D projects
