Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week and APS March Meeting
- Secure federal and private grants for advanced quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Published work in quantum error correction or variational quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Track record of securing research funding or patents in quantum technologies
