Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum cryptography and secure communication
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at global symposia
- Partner with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum processors
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper) and simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and tensor network methodologies
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU acceleration)
