Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Collaborate with AI teams on hybrid quantum-classical machine learning
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals
- Secure federal and private research funding
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- US citizenship required for government contracts
