Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to solve complex optimization problems using quantum processors
- Publish cutting-edge research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices in quantum software development
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and intellectual property
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to abstract complex quantum phenomena
