Responsibilities
- Architect Design: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant machine learning architectures for large-scale production environments.
- Model Optimization: Lead research and development into model compression, quantization, and optimization techniques to reduce latency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- System Integration: Integrate AI models with legacy systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- R&D Strategy: Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts) for emerging AI paradigms relevant to the 2026 roadmap.
- Code Review: Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices across the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture, and MLOps pipelines.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving ambiguous, high-impact engineering challenges.
