Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and data cabling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues with minimal supervision.
- Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on-site.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical construction or maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
