Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for commercial and residential properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on the job site.
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Estimate material and labor costs for project bids.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
