Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layout and installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe for other employees and clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
